Jim Harbaugh, the former head coach of the Michigan football team, keeps his word.
In the wake of leading the Wolverines to a national championship and a flawless 15-0 season the previous year, Harbaugh made a tattoo promise. In the College Football Playoff final game, the Wolverines defeated Michael Penix and the Washington Huskies 34–13, fulfilling the goal, and the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers has kept his word.
Prior to the team’s yearly spring game, Harbaugh was back in Ann Arbor on Saturday for the title ring presentation. Harbaugh sat down and had the Michigan “M” and “15-0” tattooed on his right arm prior to kickoff. As he got the tattoo, Harbaugh took the opportunity to tell the world that he is “impervious to pain.”Back on January 24, Harbaugh declared he was leaving the University of Michigan to take a head coaching position with the Chargers. In his nine seasons as Michigan’s head coach, he went 86-25 and won three Big Ten titles in addition to the team’s first national championship since 1997.
The Wolverines’ 2024 campaign will get underway in the Big House on August 31 against Fresno State.
