Sevilla is apparently considering Javi Gracia, the former head coach of Leeds United, as a possible replacement for Quique Sanchez Flores.

The Spanish team’s season has been miserable, and they are still in the running for relegation in La Liga. Six points ahead of the relegation zone, Los Nervionenses occupy 16th place in the standings at the moment.

Vamos Mi Sevilla claims that the Sevilla hierarchy is thinking about Gracia as one of the options. He would rejoin Sevilla’s sports director Victor Orta, a former Leeds employee, if he were to join the team.Orta left the team after almost six years, allegedly due to Leeds’ intention to fire Gracia and bring in Sam Allardyce in his place. On the list of possible contenders for the Sevilla position, Gracia is reportedly Orta’s favorite.

After a protracted hiring process, the Whites handed Gracia the reigns in February 2023, announcing the Spaniard as Jesse Marsch’s replacement. Before Gracia was cast in the job, the club had been linked to a number of people, including Alfred Schreuder and Andoni Iraola.

After managing just three victories in his final 11 league games, he was fired following a 4-1 loss to AFC Bournemouth. After that, Allardyce was brought in by parachuting, but he was unable to keep Leeds out of the Championship.
