Leeds United successfully completed a deal for Burnley player Connor Roberts in the last moments of the January transfer window; however, he announced his decision after the deadline had passed.

After leading Burnley to promotion the previous season and even earning a spot in the Championship Team of the Year, Roberts, 28, signed for Leeds. However, he had trouble getting into the top tier.

He joined Joe Rodon, Dan James, and Ethan Ampadu, his teammates from Wales, at Elland Road in January, and he has made an impression in the interim. His goal was vital in the 3-1 victory over Leicester City.
