Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat, through his agent Bernard Lee, recently answered to a message on social media that questioned Butler’s next destination
Although Jimmy Butler, a top player for the Miami Heat, is one of the NBA’s most formidable postseason performances, much of his interests are off the court.
With his coffee company and writing songs and albums for country music, it’s safe to assume that the 34-year-old forward will have much to do when he retires. But it looks like a lot of it will happen out of sight from the public.
Bernard Lee, Butler’s agent, recently responded to an article that asked whether the veteran will consider acting in the future.
“I can take away the uncertainty for you… He’s going to the crib next. after he’s finished,” Lee wrote on X. He’s not going to be seen again.”
Given his track record of leading one of the biggest markets in the league to numerous Finals appearances, Butler’s apparent tendency to avoid the spotlight is understandable. The Heat have lost to the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets despite two incredible campaigns since 2020.
Butler is averaging 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 50.1 percent shooting this season. He is no longer interested in individual honors; instead, his only objective is to bring a championship to Miami.
Although Butler’s more than ten years of hard work may cause him to pursue other hobbies sooner than anticipated, Heat supporters are hopeful that his retirement stays out of the picture.
