WWE has more unfortunate injury news.
WWE and the wrestling business as a whole are still plagued by injury issues.
WrestleMania 40 is just a few days away from occurring in precisely one month. Although WWE is expected to host an incredible two-night event at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, the path to that event has been rocky in terms of injuries. 40 is just a few days away from occurring in precisely one month. Although WWE is expected to host an incredible two-night event at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, the path to that event has been rocky in terms of injuries.
For both WWE officials and fans, major injuries to stars like CM Punk, Charlotte Flair, and Shotzi have been difficult to accept. Regretfully, there has been word of another talent injury.
According to Fightful, Piper Niven, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, sustained an injury last month. According to rumors that have been circulating within, Piper might have had a broken hand.
The most recent WWE Main Event broadcast to feature Niven in action was airing on February 5. She and Chelsea Green faced off against Tegan Nox and Natalya, however they were unsuccessful.
Niven’s timing isn’t the best, considering WrestleMania is quickly approaching. Although there was no assurance Piper would have made the card, the possibility remained. But there’s no information on when she’ll be ready to get back in the ring after this most recent setback.
WWE officials are praying that with all the injuries that have happened, they won’t have to hear any more terrifying news before “The Showcase of the Immortals.” This is especially true for the main matchups, as WrestleMania 40 will feature prominent appearances from talents including Bayley, IYO SKY, Becky Lynch, Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, The Rock, and Rhea Ripley.
