In preparation for the 2024 season, the Las Vegas Raiders are expanding their coaching staff. They retained Patrick Graham for defense and signed Luke Getsy to be the offensive coordinator. Although not disclosed, Hue Jackson was also added to the offensive position.

Deshaun Foster, a UCLA grad, was one of the recruits made by the Raiders to take over as running back coach. Foster was chosen to become the head coach of UCLA when Chip Kelly departed to take a position as offensive coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Antonio Pierce had to locate a replacement running back coach after Foster was promoted. They hired Carnell Williams to take over as the running back coach on Saturday after determining he was the best candidate.Carnell Williams was previously selected by Jon Gruden and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the top 10. His injuries caused his career to end. After serving as an interim head coach in 2022, he was the Auburn Tigers’ associate head coach in 2023. With the intention of improving the running back room, he now joins the Raiders.
