Jalen-Brunson-3

There are some excellent role players on the Knicks.

The uncontested leader of the New York Knicks is Jalen Brunson. It is not a secret. He is a candidate for All-NBA and All-Star team. Even though he’s finally beginning to get more attention, he doesn’t seem to mind.

It will take some time before fans can witness the Knicks play as a full team with Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks, as they haven’t seen a healthy team in a few weeks. New York has remained one of the better teams in the East despite the injuries. Although Brunson plays a big role in it, he’s not the only one.

There are four Knicks this season that have impressed, excluding Jalen Brunson. Treasured Achiuwa
In the original Anunoby deal, Precious Achiuwa was a footnote, but he has since shown that he is worthy of more respect.

The 24-year-old was born and raised in Nigeria, but when he was in the eighth grade, he relocated to the Bronx to concentrate on his basketball career. Perhaps his quiet ascent is related to the fact that he’s performing again in his second residence.

In a game, Achiuwa averages 8.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks. It took him a few games to adjust to life as a Knick, but he’s since made sense of things. He’s been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise depressing few weeks due to New York’s injury problems.

Achiuwa has been a good addition for the Knicks, despite initially being seen as a guy who might replace Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency.
