Tennessee football is still a highly sought-after product.
More than three months before the 2024 season, the school announced on Wednesday, the 70,500 season tickets at Neyland Stadium had been sold.
Football season tickets are sold out for the second year in a row, and for the third time in the previous twenty-three years.

Tennessee Athletics Director Danny White stated in a news release that “Vol Nation has proven once again why they are the best fan base in all of sports.” “The fact that we have sold out more than 70,000 season tickets for the second year in a row is really amazing. We are eager to welcome everyone back to Rocky Top this autumn.”
In 2021, White and the Tennessee athletics department unveiled a strategy plan that outlined financial objectives for the following ten years, including benchmarks for season tickets that had previously been surpassed by substantial amounts.
Tennessee sold 4,000 extra tickets in advance of the 2022 season than the intended 61,490. The target of 61,500 was met in 2023 with 9,500 extra tickets.

The enhanced on-field performance of Tennessee has led to a rise in ticket sales.
Since Josh Heupel became head coach in 2021, the Vols have played 20 games in the last two seasons and are 18-4 at home.
Tennessee led the field and has sold out 13 straight games.
The west and south end zone concourses are two of the several renovation improvements underway at the Vols’ 102-year-old football cathedral. A field-level suite on the west sideline opened last year, and prior to the 2022 season, a new jumbotron and seating sections were built.
At Neyland Stadium on August 31, Tennessee takes on Chattanooga in the 2024 season opener.
