After defeating Blackburn Rovers 1-0 on the road on Friday, Ipswich briefly shot to the top of the English Championship standings.

With the win, Ipswich moved two points clear of Leeds in second position; but, if Leeds wins their away game against Watford on Friday night, they will pass the Tractor Boys for first place.
Earlier, a 1-0 loss to Bristol City away from home dealt a serious blow to Leicester’s ambitions of making an instant return to the Premier League.

Leicester had been in the lead in the league for the majority of the season, but they have now dropped behind Leeds after winning just one of their past six Championship games.
The former England striker, who was a key player in Leicester’s incredible Premier League title victory eight years ago, Jamie Vardy, came the closest to scoring for the Foxes, but Max O’Leary made two fantastic saves to keep him out of the goal.
