Lakers and Anthony Davis reach a record three-year, $186 million maximum agreement.
After a sensational deal with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019, 30-year-old Davis made his way to Los Angeles. A year later, he and LeBron James assisted the Lakers in winning the 2020 NBA championship.
For the Lakers the previous season, Davis averaged 25.9 points, a career-high 56.3% shooting percentage, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks.
He was chosen for the NBA’s 75th anniversary team and has been an All-NBA selection four times.
