Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis, a favorite Patriot from his upbringing in New England, expressed his best wishes for Mike Vrabel during an appearance on the Robert Griffin Jr. show. Additionally, Levis is eager to advance in his learning as Brian Callahan’s pupil.

INDIANAPOLIS: This week, Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis expressed regret for previous coach Mike Vrabel’s firing and anticipation for Brian Callahan’s future in a podcast.

When Levis appeared on RG3 and The Ones, a program hosted by ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin Jr., he talked about being a die-hard New England Patriots fan growing up in Connecticut. Among his favorite players was Vrabel.

“It was so cool for me to play for a guy I looked up to as a kid,” Levis stated. “I wish Vrabes all the best and will always love him.” Being myself and being a guy who people liked to be around was one of the things I learned from dad. He taught me a lot as a coach and was that way as a player.”

Levis revealed interest in free agency Calvin Ridley of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans need quality receivers.

Nick Holz, the new offensive coordinator for the Titans, was on the Jaguars’ coaching staff the previous year. Levis thinks the Titans might be able to persuade Ridley to sign with them because of their familiarity.

Yes, he is unquestionably a fantastic player. I saw him blow us both a number of times up close,” Levis remarked. “Having a player of his quality on the field would be awesome. He must feel at ease with Holz.

Ridley had three touchdowns and over 100 yards receiving in each of the Titans’ previous games.

“Playing with him would be awesome, and who knows, maybe we could get together in the off-season to toss some balls about and see what we can achieve. However, that’s not my choice. I’m not actually that influential.

Levis passed for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions in his nine starts as a starter last season. He earned an 84.2 passer rating and finished 58.4% of his throws. He is eager to watch Callahan’s offensive play out.

“I’m looking forward to getting the ball in the air more,” Levis stated. “I’m excited to continue throwing on earlier downs. He can teach the pass game, and I’ve seen so many men execute it, so I’m looking forward to actually learning how to master it. I sincerely hope that I may be one of those guys for him once more. I am confident that I am capable. All I have to do is fit the parts together.
