Police have advised supporters who do not have legal tickets to avoid The City Ground for tonight’s Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester United game.Tonight’s FA Cup fifth-round matchup between the two Premier League teams will decide a player’s fate in the quarterfinal.
Prior to entering a restricted area and before they can use the turnstiles, supporters of the United States must present actual paper tickets.
Match commander for Nottinghamshire Police Clive Collings stated (via BBC): “It is very apparent that individuals planning to attend this match without a legitimate match ticket should not do so.
“Your trip will be in vain and you won’t be able to enter the stadium.
“The security of those in attendance at this and all future games at the City Ground is of the utmost importance.”
