Since the All-Star Break, the Orlando Magic have a record of 2-1. In terms of this week’s power rankings, where does that place them?

ORLANDO – Playing three games in four days, the Orlando Magic are getting back into the swing of things following the All-Star Break.

The Magic’s 2-1 road trip result at the beginning of the second half of the season caused a rise in CBS Sports’ power rankings. Orlando was ranked No. 17 last week and is currently ranked No. 15.

“Orlando started the week with a road win over the Cavs, then Paolo Banchero showed some serious emotion following a game-winning and-one jumper to beat the Pistons on Saturday,” reports CBS Sports. “He missed the next game, which the Magic lost to Atlanta.”

Despite battling a medical condition, Banchero managed to contribute to the Magic’s victories over the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers. But the Magic lost their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday without him, which is another evidence of how important he is to the group.

Banchero is doubtful to play against the Brooklyn Nets tonight. The Magic will play three games at home starting on Thursday against the Utah Jazz and concluding on Sunday against the Pistons.

The Magic and Nets are scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. ET tonight.
