The Notre Dame football team is still a contender, even after JuJu Marks narrowed down his list of teams to examine.

Almost all of the top talents in the 2025 recruiting class appear to be targeted by the Notre Dame football club. The talented Kansas defensive end Julian Marks is still a target for the Fighting Irish, even if it’s evident they won’t acquire every player they have their eye on.

Last week, Marks used social media to reduce the number of teams that are still being evaluated. His “final” number of teams is still 13, which indicates that he’s clearly not ready to commit to anything close to that amount.

Marks has also covered football from Kansas, Alabama, Michigan, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Texas A&M, and USC in addition to Notre Dame. Naturally, such list implies that Marcus Freeman and associates will have a difficult task ahead of them if they hope to make his next cut, whenever that may be.

Given that the 6-foot-7-inch, 260-pound lineman had pledged to the Tigers, Missouri may be the most intriguing inclusion on the list. JuJu Marks decided to decommit in October 2023 because he wanted to keep exploring.

A list like that naturally suggests that Marcus Freeman and friends have their work cut out for them if they want to be considered for his next cut, whenever that may be.

Considering that the 260-pound, 6-foot-7-inch lineman had committed to the Tigers, Missouri might be the most interesting addition to the roster. JuJu Marks made the decision to separate in October 2023 in order to continue traveling.
