Markelle Fultz’s injury has been updated by the Orlando Magic. Will he suit up to play the Atlanta Hawks tonight?
ORLANDO: When the Orlando Magic play the Atlanta Hawks tonight, they will start a few different players in the starting lineup.
Markelle Fultz, who has been sidelined for the last three games due to knee pain, will play tonight. It made some sense that Fultz would not play both games for Orlando in the two days when the Magic were playing back-to-back games.
After playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder the previous evening, Fultz rested on February 14 against the New York Knicks.
But as he heals from his calf injury, Gary Harris will be rested by the Magic. In Saturday’s victory over the Detroit Pistons, Harris started in the backcourt alongside Jalen Suggs and finished with 12 points and four 3-pointers.
The organization wants Harris to be healthy for the long run after he suffered a calf injury that kept him out of action for nearly all of January.

Due to a finger injury, Trae Young will miss the Hawks’ game on Sunday. Onyeka Okongwu (foot) and Mouhamed Gueye (back) are also sidelined for Atlanta.
Fultz’s return is undoubtedly encouraging for the Magic as they aim to win four games in a row. The Hawks and Magic will tip off at 7 p.m. ET.
