After the NBA All-Star break, the Miami Heat return to action on Friday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Heat have won six of their previous ten games and are on a two-game winning streak; however, Tyler Herro’s status is listed as questionable because of an injury.
Herro’s right foot is causing him trouble, per the Heat’s most recent injury report. The 24-year-old guard has not missed a game due to a migraine since February 4 against the LA Clippers. This is a new injury for him.The Heats’ injury list also includes four other players: Josh Richardson, Terry Rozier, Duncan Robinson, and Dru Smith. Robinson is expected to suit up to play the Pelicans, while Richardson, Rozier, and Smith are listed as out.
Before the All-Star break, Tyler Herro had only appeared in 35 of the Miami Heat’s 55 games. Herro’s ankle ailment kept him out of several games in November. He only missed two games after his mid-December return due to a migraine and shoulder ailment.
When Herro began experiencing pain in his right foot is unknown. On Thursday, he shared a facepalm emoji, although it might not have anything to do with his condition. Throughout the season, he has averaged 21.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.
Is Tyler Herro going to play for the Pelicans?
Tyler Herro’s status against the New Orleans Pelicans is listed as questionable because of soreness in his right foot. He will be assessed by the Miami Heat’s medical staff prior to the game, and his status is probably going to depend on the outcome.
Duncan Robinson, ., and recently signed player Delon Wright will see greater pJaime Jaquez Jrlaying time if Herro is out from Friday’s game. Jimmy Butler is also anticipated to return to the Heat after taking a brief leave of absence to attend to a private family situation prior to the All-Star break.
The Smoothie King Centre in New Orleans, Louisiana will host the Miami Heat vs. New Orleans Pelicans game on Friday. It’s scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. EST and will be shown on Bally Sports New Orleans and Bally Sports Sun.
