Will Still is apparently well-known to all football fans. Even though he didn’t manage a “big” club, he had a significant influence on Reims.

It is hardly surprising that he has already been linked to a transfer to the London Stadium considering that he was a lifelong West Ham supporter and has been extremely vocal about his ambition to manage the team.

Remarkably, it appears that he hinted to West Ham once more in a recent interview. “For something that never really happened, there was a lot of noise.” I’m not going to lie, there has been curiosity. Openness and honesty are what I prefer, and I believe I was. There has been curiosity. We’ve received requests for conversations. This is how things really stand,” he said to The Athletic.

“My entire life, I have traveled overseas and worked in environments that aren’t completely mine. And all I want is to get back home.

Although “home” might relate to any English club, this could undoubtedly be taken to mean that the person wants to join the Hammers. Nevertheless, he expressed his willingness to explore other alternatives, saying, “I would love to do that if there’s a Championship club that’s ambitious, that wants to work in the right way and be open and honest about things, and really try and push to get somewhere.”

Of course, every manager’s desire is to play in the Premier League. I’m also not in a rush. Really, I’ve never had a career strategy. I’ve never given anything a deadline. I’ve just been waiting for the right opportunity to experience things firsthand.

Although the management still lacks considerable experience, there can be no gain without risk. His play style might be a perfect fit for the personnel West Ham has available, and what he has done with Reims speaks volumes. It’s another question entirely whether Sullivan will accept that risk.
