In 2013, Terrance Knighton was a defensive tackle.
Terrance Knighton was picked by the Jacksonville Jaguars and played for them for four seasons until being signed by the Broncos in 2012.
When he was drafted by Jacksonville, Jack Del Rio was the head coach; by this point, he was the defensive coordinator for the Broncos. The obvious fit led to the Broncos signing him.
Although defensive linemen don’t usually put up large stats, Knighton was a monster against the run and made a critical play in the 2013 AFC Championship Game against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots that helped propel the Broncos to the Super Bowl.
After 2014, the Broncos allowed him to leave.
