Victory against Sheffield Wednesday moved the Foxes 14 points clear of third-placed Southampton.
Enzo Maresca, the manager of Leicester, won’t concede that his team is almost promoted.
At King Power Stadium, a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday put the Foxes 14 points ahead of Southampton in third place.
Before Maresca’s team officially announces their return to the Premier League at the first opportunity, it seemed like a question of time.
However, the Italian coach does not think that way, and he cautioned his players not to get too comfortable as the season moves forward.

He declared, “Even after two minutes, I will change them if any of my players show a drop.”
They refuse to participate. Nothing is changing; we still need to win and show our opponents respect.
“Although I’m thrilled with the victory, our match against Middlesbrough on Saturday takes priority for now.
When they altered formation in the second half, we had some difficulty, but after 15 or 20 minutes, we were able to play well.
“However, in order to increase our comfort level, I wanted a third goal before halftime; if they score one, they can respond.”
Four minutes in, Jamie Vardy opened the score for Leicester and contributed to the first goal against the team he grew up playing for.
“Jamie is the player who has scored the most goals for us this season; he showed well with two goals against Stoke and he was fighting and pressing against Watford,” Maresca continued.
“I couldn’t be happier with him. Jamie seemed like he would fit in this game, and that was the plan from the beginning. Jamie was working effectively, but it’s my responsibility to give everyone a minute. Sometimes you can, sometimes you can’t.
The way Sheffield Wednesday played in the second half gave manager Danny Rohl hope.
“I was happier with our response to falling behind and we showed a lot more in the second half,” he stated.
“We switched to a back five, but it was more about believing in ourselves.
“There was a change, but we only had one strong half and you have to be good for 90 minutes against Leicester.”
That is the one thing we can be happy about from the game, and I believe our fans acknowledged our second-half effort at the conclusion.
“The data indicated that if we are ahead of the game, this is what we can do. Maybe we could strive to do anything if we could have only one objective.
It’s difficult here at Leicester, but we’ve always wanted to try and succeed. At home, we sketched with them. We are aware of their exceptional strength. However, our response was better than it was against Southampton.
“Our current task is to attend every game and score as many points as we can.”
