Shortly after joining Rangers from Los Angeles FC, top player Jose Cifuentes is about to finish a loan move out of Ibrox.
The Daily Record claims that the midfield player will return to Ecuador to complete his paperwork before flying to Brazil for his loan move to Cruzeiro.
According to the source, Cifuentes and the Belo Horizonte team are nearing the end of their personal terms, and the transfer window in Brazil is open until March 7. After the player’s loan period ends, Cruzeiro will have the opportunity to purchase him permanently if he continues to perform admirably, local sources in Brazil have told IbroxNews.
Michael Beale, the former manager, signed eleven players, including Cifunetes. After four years in the MLS, he signed on in the summer for an unknown sum.
The 19-year-old Ecuadorian international has had difficulty adjusting to the pressures at Ibrox. In his nine league games, he has failed to score and has only contributed one assist.
